Inspired by the sidewalk gardens lining Alphabet City in the spring. This is a vintage leather jacket delicately adorned with real pressed flowers. Each flower is hand-harvested and pressed in Seattle.
PROCESS: After being selected and pressed on a family farm in Seattle, each hydrangea is hand-applied to the leather, and sealed under layers of clear topcoat.
Exterior 100% leather with genuine flower overlay
Glazed in a thin waterproof seal
Lining compositions for this jacket are unknown, as we keep vintage linings to preserve the garment's integrity.
Made-to-order: your Iris jacket will be custom created for you; please allow 16-20 business days from order date for your one-of-a-kind piece to be delivered!
Please note: Each piece is a mix of vintage, recycled, or new components. Please love any slight imperfections, signs of age, or qualities typical of vintage garments as part of the piece's unique history!
Additional note for this style:The flowers on these jackets are extremely delicate-- this is why they are not applied to areas where they are exposed to the most bending and movement. Please be mindful of their fragility when wearing, and store this jacket very carefully! Cracking of the flowers is natural, and should be considered part of the way this piece wears.
